Don't be fooled by owner age or smile, he's not a nice old man ready to do anything for you right here, right now. He have only one God... your almighty dollar. As soon as he gets your money in his pocket, you just taking his time.
I was keeping my boat here for 8 years. It was few incidents between us but I always let it go, on the end I get what I asked for and most of the time it was not worthed my time to fight with him. But this year... I lost my boat in fire after just one week of being on the water (BTW... he allowed boat without insurance policy to be right next to mine boat... as long as you pay him everything is fine!!!). Now I want part of money I paid for slip back from him. And what a surprise!!! He don't answer my calls, he can't call me back after number of messages I left for him because... he's too busy! Shame on you old man!!! You don't do something like this to anyone, forget about someone who was with you for years!
So do yourself a favor... if you looking for a place to buy, repair or keep your boat for summer, is many other places in Portland/Middletown area, give them a chance first. Here you get what you pay for or...trust me... many times not even that.
