MDIA, Inc. is the successor organization to the electrical inspection department of the Middle Department Association of Fire Underwriters, an organization of fire and casualty insurance companies that began making similar inspections in Pennsylvania and Delaware in 1883. Over 35 years after opening its doors, MDIA, Inc. is a well established leader for municipal and residential inspections for the Mid-Atlantic region.
