Re: Customer Satisfaction by beaglejangles - 06/29/2009It takes more than some upscale merchandise and fantastic, hard-working employees (unfortunately). To secure a good business, there must be good business practices from the very top to the actual staff of employee, from the C.E.O. on down. Communications, customer relations, etc. are absolutely essential. NOT JUST THE DOLLAR SIGN!!!! So many businesses fail that have that philosophy. As I said in my previous review, my parents were long-time customers in West Seattle, as my Mother still owns property there. I was a very regular customer of the Dash Point Store. Due to poor management and complaints from the employees about management, creating poor morale, I have terminated being a customer and started going to the Admiral Store. I loved it. However, due to poor communications from the top, I am no longer a Customer of Metropolitan Market, and I have influenced others to do the same, both at Dash Point and Admiral. If the C.E.O doesn't we don't either. Whole Foods and P.C.C. are GO!
easy to spend by stellastar - 10/14/2007Everything looks so good, I always spend too much money. Bottom line, it looks FANTASTIC and it IS FANATSTIC, a few extra dollars in the whole scheme of things is well worth it.
special foods by tay - 09/27/2007I would not shop here for every day items because it does cost more, but they have a great variety of items not found in other markets. They also have a deli which has hot foods to go that are better than any other markets (like the prime rib sandwich).
Metro Market Review by chele60106 - 09/16/2007The MM Market is one of the best markets, I have been in, and I have shopped all over the country! It's a bit more expensive but it has organics, cheeses, beers, wines, and foods form all over the world combined with a knowledgable staff. Tough to beat.
I completely recommend MM.
