NEW OWNERSHIP, GOT RID OF ORIGINAL STAFF AND CONDITIONS HAVE GREATLY DECLINED. Staff is dishonest and ignores maintenance requests for months, there has been a cockroach infestation since I moved in, the display unit they advertise is MUCH nicer than any unit in the building, Units have old and rusty appliances, peeling paint, windows that don't seal all the way. This place is so overpriced for the poor conditions and negligent treatment from Property Resource Staff. TAKE MY WARNING! After reporting the window issue for months, the corporate director for the Midwest's solution was asking me to just move out. This place is nothing like what it used to be, has gone completely down hill. I would rate it as a 0/5 if I could.

The Met is a wonderful place to live! Its located at 600 W. Mill St. which is right accross the street from SIUC's campus. The people and management are extremely friendly and welcoming. I've lived here for the past 2 years and have had the opprotunity to experience its many amendities such as free cable and internet, a place to workout, and a 42' flat screen TV just to name a few. The place also comes fully furnished which adds a peace of mind since you dont have to worry about buying all new furniture. The Metropolitan deserves two-thumbs up in my opinion!
