i am one amazed and happy home owner by shaner - 09/20/2009I own a home that had a roof that was a cobbled mess. It had a valley that had always leaked and from being built in the 20s the years of snow loads and age had sagged my roof in several spots. I got four bids and went with Mesher roofing. Andrews bid was very reasonable but he was the most informative. Andrew built me a cricket in the valley to kick the rain off the roof and jacked up all of my sags. then instead of double felting over the 1x6 slats we talked and agreed that resheeting the roof would be more cosmetic and help strengthen my roof. The end result was a work of art. I've done allot of research before choosing a contractor. the home is your biggest investment. Mesher roofing went above and beyond for my home. There was no mess, when they left, and no vulgar language on the job sight. Roofs don't usually get me excited, but the difference Mesher did for my house, really impressed me,and the neighbors. Masterful roofing/ Honest roofer with conscience by Marc Daniels, Gen. Contractor - 08/23/2009I can't say enough good things about Andrew Mesher as a person and a roofing contractor. He is the most knowlegable and conscientious roofer I have known. My only complaint about him is that he's up in Oregon...and I'm doing my general contracting in northern California! Andrew did a tear-off and re-roof for me recently on a 120-year-old victorian here in Ferndale, and went the extra distance every step of the way. I know for a fact that I got the highest quality roof possible with Andrew calling the shots. Regarding roofing contractors and the quality of their work, there really is a difference. I'm confident that my roof and flashings are going to outlast their neighbors.One more thing worth mentioning: Andrew is one of the most polite, conscientious, and honest people you're likely to meet. While up on my roof, for example, he noticed a problem with a flashing installed by another roofer on the neighbor's roof, and with permission, fixed it for free.
