Mesa County Libraries Have been in operation for over 100 Years. Offering some of the following services.

In addition to stories read by staff or volunteers, our story times usually include music and movement. Story time is designed so children have fun while building early literacy skills.

For “Children’s Literacy Resources for Parents, Caregivers, and Teachers” provided by the Colorado State Library,

Location: Collbran Library
The Friends of the Library make a variety of Library cultural programs and special supplies possible with proceeds from membership dues and used book sales. Highlights include Poetry Night at the Library, support for One Book, One Mesa County, funds for the Homebound book van, media equipment at each branch, and special equipment for the low-vision area of the Central Library. Friends' members receive a monthly newsletter with notice of library activities, news, and recommended books and websites.

Neighbors Read! Family Story Night

Neighbors Read! aims to bring special guests and events to the library.
Offered to families every Tuesday night.
