My family lives in MD but when I was younger every year my Grandparents would go to MA just to get churico and coffe syrup from here. Now that my grandparents are unable to travel it is wonderful that I can order online so we don't have to be without our favorite food :)

My husband is Portuguese and we are originally from MA, and we moved to VA in 1992. They do not have Portuguese items in the area and my husband missed his chourico! I found Mellos in the Yellow Pages and called them directly to see if I could order from them. They were wonderful and even included rolls and masa for us. We love their chourico (especially the hot) and the crushed red pepper. Now I order on their website. It is extremely easy to use, they offer excellent customer service, high qaulity products, and shipments are delivered promptly, packed properly, and the cost is reasonable. I recommended Mello's to all my friend and family.
