The Portland Hypertension and Nephrology Clinic welcomed Dr. Peng to the practice in the summer of 2010. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, MA and then went on to complete her internship and residency at the University of California Davis’ Medical Center in 2005. She completed her nephrology training at the University of California San Francisco, and has been a Board Certified Nephrologist for over three years working at the Veterans’ Hospital in San Francisco. Dr. Peng was recognized by the National Kidney Foundation Postdoctoral Research Fellowship program and has also served as a volunteer physician with the Kidney Early Evaluation Program since 2006. When she isn’t seeing patients, Dr. Peng enjoys salsa dancing, reading, cooking, running and traveling. Her eight years of experience in medicine, expertise in nephrology, and her warm and friendly demeanor, make her a wonderful addition to Portland Hypertension and Nephrology.
