Our approach consists of these 3 Phases of Dental Care

Eliminating diseases and infection, restoring broken or decayed teeth, mercury removal (if indicated), general and cosmetic dentistry.

For those with bite/jaw problems we can determine the correct jaw position once your body is aligned. You can work with our team or we can work with your team of professionals.*
Using Bio compatible materials, we restore the bite to that position where your jaw reflects optimal health and body function.

*With 40% of your body's nerves located between your eyes and chin, the jaw is like a tuner on a radio. If the jaw (bite) is off, the neck is off, the hips are off, etc..

Good health includes balanced alignment, equal and opposing body / cranial motion.

MERCURY REMOVAL:
While many dentists are willing to remove mercury amalgam fillings or gold restorations, it is very important that protocols are utilized to minimize patient exposure. Disregard for these can result in extremely high exposure to mercury.

Our office reduces these risks by utilizing the following protocols:

Patient wears a nasal hood & breathes oxygen during the procedure.

Oral vitamin C will be provided. (Used for chelation of the mercury atoms in the bloodstream before they get deposited in the body tissue or pass the blood/brain barrier, the placental barrier, or pass through breast milk) Amalgam removal is not recommended during pregnancy unless absolutely necessary.

High-speed suction. To help in assuring mercury vapor is properly directed

We will utilize a cotton drop cloth technique, which Dr. Swidler developed to most effectively catch harmful debris associated with mercury removal. Currently the rubber dam approach is still often used amongst many practitioners but we have found that once the dam is removed, metal debris is almost always found. The cotton drop cloth technique consists of numerous layers of cotton and paper products, functioning like a magnet for the harmful debris

Air purification/filtration. Ozone machines, open windows, & additional air treatment will be a part of the procedure

High flow water and air flow.

Dr. and assistant wear mercury vapor masks. We don't mean to have anyone feel distant from our caring expressions but we take our job very seriously. Our occupational setting exposes us to hazardous wastes and mercury vapors when we remove your amalgams. Our masks, vitamin C levels, and air control minimize our risks to exposure
