My name is Jill Hayden. I have had 11 years in the medical field prior to training in Isometric Medical Massage. I am nationally certified and a state registered massage therapist in the state of Colorado, and have been practicing for 12 years as an instructor of isometric muscle and body balancing in a successful practice.Isometric balancing is a technique for bringing the body into balance and ridding the body of pain.
This technique stands out above the rest because it is used to turn on the signals between the brain and the body, allowing them to connect by either lengthening or contracting the appropriate muscles. This allows the muscles to correct any poor postural patterns that may exist . Many have been able to enjoy improvements, if not full correction, of a vast array of problems including:
This re-education breakthrough has helped to restore and enhance the quality of life for those suffering from; tramatic brain injury, stroke, MD, MS, Lou Gehrig's disease, Parkinson's disease, cerebral palsy, bell's palsy, meniere's, carpal tunnel, neurological disorders, reflex sympathetic dystrophy, disc issues, back, scoliosis, twisted vertebrae, head ribs, sciatic problems, dislocations, frozen shoulder, rotator cuff, knee & hip pain, TMJ, hyoid bone, plantarfasciitis, bunions/hammer toes, fibroid myalgia.
This is a gentle non-invasive treatment that is very effective in treating acute and chronic pain and injuries. We will work with your body to find proper balance. This retrains the muscle memory in the contracted muscle to release and stretch, and when you relax, this legthens that specific muscle.
This treatment generally lasts between 45 minutes and 1 hour.
I also offer training to anyone who would like to learn how to connect the brain back to the muscles through proprioceptive work. This workshop is open to the public. You don't have to be a massage/body work therapist to attend.
Here are some clients testimonials:
Vanessa - Patient Testimonial
"I was buried in a mass of painful knots and stiffness. When I first met Jill Hayden I had almost convinced myself that I would never be the active, energetic, physically strong woman I had been just a few years ago. I felt like I was 90 years old instead of 40. I was finally diagnosed with fibromyalgia. "
"To make a very long story short after my first session with Jill I slept better and stood taller. By the third visit I decided that she was helping me more than any of the medications. I have been off all the medications now for a month. I see Jill once a week and I am almost pain free. I stand taller, think clearer. I can feel my mind and my body working together again. I am free, I can walk and I have been back in the gym working out. I can take care of my family again. I can smile and look the Fibro monster in the face and say, “I am stronger than you!” I can do anything. I am alive "
Janice - Continued Education Testimony
"As a registered massage therapist in Colorado, I have taught fifteen of the twenty years I have been in practice. Isometric muscle and body balancing is the best investment of the many modalities in my tool kit."
"The open-ended concept allows for a huge variety of ways to customize treatment applications. It provides for a hospitable and medical-based orientation. I have experienced concrete results with multiple sclerosis and cerebral palsy. I only wished that I had this at the beginning of my career."
