I took my truck in because it had a vibration in the rear end. Matson said it would be $90 to look at it & that they would take the cost off of my final bill. They told me it was a carrier bearing & charged me $690! I later got a quote for $300 from another shop, but I had already gotten the work done at Matson. Within a week, I started to hear a different noise that I thought was coming from the front end. However, my son & 2 other people agreed that it was still my rear end. My son took the truck back in to have them check out the noise & they told him it was my tires and they wouldn't do anything to fix it. I took it to the tire store and rotated my tires. It did not fix the problem. I have since sold the truck, but I would never send anyone to Matson. The parts to originally fix my truck could be purchased for $120 at Napa. That means they charged me $570 in labor. Next time I will take it to the guy who quoted $300 and actually warranties his work.

I brought my boat into Matson regarding a starting issue. Mike Matson worked on the boat and stated that it was running fine and "good to go". When took the boat out on a local lake, it would not start. Luckily a fellow boater pulled me back in to the dock, as we were at driff for about 30 minutes. I called back to speak with Mike regarding the issue, but was always told by his associate Shawn, that he was not available. This facility is far from professional and their knowledge regarding boats is very questionable in my opinion. If they work on automobiles, etc., like they did this boat, consumer beware.

I went in this last weekend to get tires for my Hyundai. I couldn't be happier with the service I received. The gentleman at the front counter was helpful in choosing a tire. I don't know a lot about cars and being a girl I'm always afraid of getting taken advantage of. He was friendly and never talked down to me. I'll definitely come back next time I need something done on my car.
