Horrible experience today- I went in for a mani- pedi. The nail tech was so rude. This was not a relaxing day at all. For a $100 mani- pedi I would expect much better treatment than I received today. I will NEVER be back again. My friend had a massage on her masseuse coughed on her the whole time. DO NOT waste your money here. We love going to the spa- but will never go back here again!

Absolutely lovely place with a very accommodating and friendly staff .Have had several massages and facials in a couple of pedicures .

Kristin Knipp is the only person I will let touch my hair, and I've been that way for 6 years. I have really REALLY long hair- and I am super sensitive about people touching it. She always knows exactly what I want! I The product line she uses makes my hair so soft and healthy. She is also the only person who I will let touch my eyebrows. She will style them, give them shape, and make them so beautiful! Don't go to anyone but her! I promise you wont regret it!

I had my wedding hair and makeup done here for me and my entire bridal party and wish I had gone elsewhere. The front desk people definitely lack the customer service skills that would keep you coming back. There was a blonde woman (manager/scheduler) working the front who was so rude she just kind of pointed where I needed to go in the salon reception area and acted like I was putting her out. My hair person Denise took one of my bridesmaids before me on the day of the wedding and was really focused on trying to get her as a new client. My mom had to interrupt her to tell her that she needed to take me (the bride) because I was going to be late for the wedding. You would think it would be common sense to take the bride first on her wedding day and I am not picky. My makeup was done by Chandra who was mediocre at best. My mom had Brenda do her makeup who was amazing! I wish I had known about her ahead of time. Really not worth the money for what happened and the customer service received. I will never go back!

Really negative experience. Front desk people have no customer service skills. Wish I had gone elsewhere on my wedding day. I go to Mateos every time I'm in town for a massage. I have yet to have bad one! The staff is friendly, everyone is professional. Well worth the money. I've had massages at several places back home that are supposed to be "high end" locations, but none compare to Mateos. HIGHLY recommend

Terrible Place

I had a very relaxing time here at Mateo's. The staff knew how to keep you comfortable. The environment was very comfortable and the specials that they had were awesome.

I had a great experience here. I received a relaxing massage and got my hair done. They were very friendly and had great customer service skills. I definitely have recommended this salon to my friends.

I found a stylist here that really knows what I want with my hair. He knows all of the trends and i really like to change up my hair so I am glad that I found a stylist that will keep up with me. They are very friendly and professional and the whole salon is always clean.

Great place to go and relax. I try and make it once a month i have a very stressful job and need to make it to the spa otherwise i will go Crazy. No other spa can get me to unwind like Mateos.

Heard good things about Mateos over the years. Was a bit nervous after reading a couple mixed reviews. Took my sisters from out of town there. Service was impeccable. I feel comfortable highly recommending to everyone.

Very nice spa. Enjoyed massage and facial very much. pricing very reasonable for quality. Will return.

We pride ourselves on Customer Service as stated on the web site? Not so much.. For a first visit to their spa, there was no welcome at check in and really no guidance to the spa- its a bit of a maze. Rude reception and very disorganized. I could have walked out with out paying a dime for all the notice the THREE ladies at the desk gave me when I was done with my spa treatment. I walked about the "gourmet shop" but wasn't offered any help there either. It's too bad- the spa treatment was really nice but the lack of customer service from the desk has convinced me I won't be back nor will all the folks I share this experience with.

I want to thank the girls at Mateos( especially you girls in the pedicure room) for a wonderful Birthday for me and my guests! We will remember our spa day for a long time to come.
