Dr. David Martinez was voted the top Pediatric Dentist in
Albuquerque by his peers in 2007 and 2008. He is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist specializing in the treatment of infants, children, adolescents and children with special needs.

In agreement with the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), Dr. Martinez recommends that a patient's first visit to the dentist is at age 1, or within 6 months of the eruption of the first tooth. Just as you take your child to the pediatrician during the first year, these early visits are your child's dental well baby visits.

Dr. Martinez offers primary (comprehensive) care. Primary care consists of regular exams, cleanings and fluoride treatment. Our office also provides restorative treatment which includes fillings (white or silver), crowns, extractions and space maintenance. We also offer athletic mouth guards.

Our office offers nitrous oxide (laughing gas) sedation for patients during restorative treatment. Dr. Martinez also offers hospital treatment for those needing treatment under general anesthesia.

Dr. Martinez is a provider for Delta Dental, United Conmcordia, and most other dental insurance plans.
