Martin Septic Service, Inc. has been in business since 1986. We are family owned and operated and currently have 20 employees that are highly trained in the field of septic systems. We have built this business on the quality of our work and dedication to keeping Florida’s waters clean. Located in North Port, we serve Charlotte, DeSoto, Sarasota and Manatee counties.

Our company does new installation and repairs of septic systems for residential and commercial clients. We work closely with many local engineering firms. We are a licensed distributor, installer and maintenance entity for the Delta Whitewater Aerobic Treatment Units and Clearstream. We are also licensed to maintain AquaKlear, B.E.S.T. 1, Cajun-Aire/Alliance, FAST Bio-Microbics, Hoot, Hydro Action, Jet, and Singulair Aerobic Treatment Units. Charlotte County has approximately 2,400 ATU units in the ground. Of the 2400, Martin Septic Service, Inc. services approximately 1,300 of those units. Martin Septic Service, Inc. also maintains approximately 385 units in Sarasota County. Martin Septic offers a free pump out with the purchase of a two-year maintenance contract for the Aerobic Treatment Units. In addition to the above, we also install mini sewer (low-pressure) systems.

We clean and pump out septic and grease traps for both residential and commercial accounts. We have two 4,000-gallon vac trucks; one 4,800-gallon Juggler vac truck that harvests water, separating liquids from solids, and then filters the water, which can be discharged back into a septic tank; and one 2,000-gallon vac truck, which is housed on Little Gasparilla Island.

When it comes to selling or buying a home, we do a thorough septic inspection of the septic system that includes a thirty-minute water test, pump out and inspection of the drain field.

Martin Septic Service, Inc. is a member of Florida Onsite Wastewater Association (FOWA). Martin Guffey sits as a board member and a member of the TRAP (Technical Review Advisory Panel) committee. The TRAP committee assists the State in writing new legislation and code with regard to the on-site industry.
