My daughter being from another state and having been through a tragedy that no one should ever have to go through in life. That is losing a child had become pregnant after we moved to Orgeon. She was told she was a very good doctor and once my daughter met her she felt the same way. However this doctor has NO relationship at all with her patients. Actually she rarely sees her patients. My daughter went through a very rare pregnancy with the child she lost. She explained everything to this doctor, and she told her she would be a high risk pregnancy but she wanted her to feel relieved qand relaxed throughout her pregnancy, and given her history would keep close eye on her. That has NOT happened at all. In fact 99% of the time she doesn't see the doctor, and when she does she hasn't a clue about anything my daughter talks to her about with concerns. Also knowing the issue my daughter had with her last pregnancy, the rare condition would only be found in an ultrasound. My daughter has paid for multiple ones not ordered by her doctor, for the 3D effect and just a peace of mind. Her doctor ordered one when she was 4 months pregnant and nothing since. Now my daughter is 9 months pregnant and she said she needed one ordered to get placed in her file.....REALLY!!!!!!.....can you say "COVERING MY BUTT??!!", to put it bluntly. The condition my daughter had made it where her son was at risk inside of the wound so they delivered at 32 weeks, he passed away 2 weeks later. Most times you keep an eye on them around the 24th month and up. Yet this doctor seems to again not care much for her patients. They are in my opinion simply a number, a pay check.....if you wish to see a doctor that's a bit more hands on, more attentive, then I wouldn't seek this one out. Now to the doctor....perhaps you have too much of a workload and should lighten it. I have seen doctors who are busy with more babies then they can deliver and know more about their patients then you WITHOUT the need of a file. Or how about when you do finally come around to seeing your pregnant patient maybe your 2nd visit at the END of their pregnancy....read up on the file before walking in and act like you remember them as if they were your only patient. I think a law should be in place in regards to how many patients they take on, I am sure there is but clearly for this doctor its TOO many.
