Located in San Rafael, Calif., Marin Waldorf School enrolls more than 150 students in kindergarten through grade eight. The school teaches various subjects, including math, science, social studies, reading and writing, speech and language, physical education, music and language arts. Its foreign language department offers instruction in Spanish and German. Marin Waldorf School provides after-school programs that include various activities, such as handwork, puppet making, homework club, drawing, reading club, board games, woodworking, gardening, painting and music. In addition, the school has a library that houses a collection of storybooks, picture dictionaries, encyclopedias, magazines and reference materials.
