We have been frequenting Mandarin Palace for 8 years and it always exceeds our expectations. We prefer take-out and do not dine in. We always receive prompt service with our take out order always ready within 10-15 minutes. We do not live in the area but we have the Mandarin Palace phone number set in our mobile phone. Whenever we are near Layton we make one quick phone call and we know our order will be ready when we arrive. We were recently traveling with a friend on I15 past Layton and told him we were going to stop and pick up some chinese. We made a phone call and a quick stop and were back on our way within a few minutes. As we were eating and driving along our friend said "This might be the best chinese I have ever had". WE feel it is THE BEST chinese restaurant around and stop whenever traveling I15 past Layton. Our entree recommendations: Mandarin Chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken, and Tiny-Spicy Chicken. Dinner entrees cost near $8.00.

I have been eating there since I was in high school. They have delicious chinese food! Especially the Mandarin Chicken with the General Tso sauce. Very prompt service as well.
