Manapogo is a very family friendly campground with great activities nice park and the best part is the clean beach with beautiful view of the lake. It is a place where your kids are safe and can go and meet friends. There is a dog policy that you can not walk your dog through the park but you can carry them or put them in a wagon. The park is very clean and there are people and kids walking around. We do have a dog and have been camping there for over 10 years. I assume that the policy is to keep the park clean and safe. Not everyone is polite about cleaning up their dog messes. We have friends who both have dogs and who came for a weekend and became seasonal campers because they loved it so much. It is our little piece of heaven.

If you have a dog, please review their dog policy with them before making your reservation. Your dog must be quiet at all times and you cannot walk your dog in th park. You MUST either carry or transport your dog in your vehicle to the required area. If you do walk your dog there because you were not told about the policy when you booked and you camp in a motor home, the seasonal campers will nastily remind you of the policy. Most of the seasonal campers do not like the weekend campers. Not a friendly place to camp unless you are one of the seasonals.
