If I could give less than 1 star I would. Mainlander is without a doubt the most untrustworthy group I have ever encountered, from either a tenant or owners standpoint. I would highly roccomend NOT using mainlander for any property management services.
Maintenance request are either ignored or delayed significantly with very little to no communication. For us, our deposit amount was agreed upon after move out, but a lesser amount was issued for reasons fabricated by the property manager, Andrea.

I should have hended the terrible reviews before I moved in and worked with mainlander. Throughout my four years they went through several different employment changes and when I finally moved out due to a health concern there was no sympathy and coincidentally charged me exactly the same amount as my deposit for all of the cleanup which is ridiculous. Charges included additional cleanings that we’re not necessary. Beware. Do not rent from this property management company.

We're in the process of moving to the area and have been in contact with several property management companies. While most have been helpful and pleasant, Mainlander stands out as the opposite. It's been difficult to have phone calls answered or returned. Scheduling has been an obstacle and the one property we've been able to view has been absolutely filthy. As an owner of rental property Mainlander would be my absolute last resort.

DO NOT RENT FROM MAINLANDER!!! THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!!!

This company is crooked, unprofessional, and they will try to take you for every penny they can. I rented a property from them for a little over a year, they were very bad about contacting me back, they were discourteous, and they came through the house often, with little to no notice. Angie Reinhart was the person in charge of my account, she was more interested in getting that rent check than doing anything to make my rental experience more pleasant. When it came time to move ( I bought my first home with my v.a home loan) she was more interested in trying to gouge me for a few extra bucks than anything else. This company even made me pay for rent on the place after I had handed it back over to them, which I am pretty sure is illegal. If it is not outside the law it is very base, unethical, and dishonest. Do yourself a favor and don't rent from these people, it will only end in a huge headache.
