Great Food by raiders - 10/31/2007WE always make a point of stopping when in the area. Occasionally drive for a special occasion. The rolls are fabulous. The meats are good, and the desserts are outstanding.
Fun getaway by carma - 10/31/2007This is a fun place to stop to eat if you are traveling North of Salt Lake. The food is good and the restaurant is very nice. The staff do a good job.

Traditional for my familiy by fun - 10/24/2007It is a nice drive during the Fall - make sure you dont plan to go and have to drive during the rush hour if leaving from SLC. The rolls are to die for, the last time was there I felt the meat was not up to their regular standard, but still good. If you go Friday or Saturday night, expect a wait to get seated.

CAN'T PASS IT BY by barb - 10/10/2007WHENEVER WE ARE IN THE AREA OF MADDOX WE MAKE IT A POINT TO STOP FOR DINNER. IN FACT MANY TIMES WE PLAN TO EAT THERE ON OUR WAY WHEREVER WE ARE GOING. THEY ARE FAMOUS FOR MANY THINGS--MY FAVORITE ARE ROLLS, CORNPONES, RASPBERRY BUTTER, FRIED CHICKEN AND THE STEAKS. THE SERVERS ARE ALWAYS NICE AND COURTEOUS. KEEP THIS FAMILY TRADITION GOING FOR MANY YEARS!
Slipping Reputation by barrister - 10/07/2007Maddox is a memory-filled experience. The original building and atmosphere of the restaurant still make it a treat to eat there. However, the last two trips have been frankly disappointing in the quality of the food. The steak seemed less than high quality, and the chicken was acceptable, but no more in texture and flavor. It isn't worth the drive any longer.

Maddox Ranch House by EHH - 10/03/2007Excellent food that reminds you of home with the exception of what we feel is VERY overpriced. Long wait, after a long drive. Don't even devert anymore as we come and go from USU to see our student(s).
Over-rated by friend - 10/03/2007Everytime I have been to Maddox the has been a 45 min. to 1 hour wait. The food is just okay.

Great Family Dining by horses - 09/25/2007This is a place to bring your family. It's homestyle cooking and very good. We go there often and usually have a table of 8 to 10. They have prompt friendly service and the prices are fair.
Great Food by reay - 09/10/2007I have been here several times. I almost always find the food to be good. Although, I once tried the buffalo burger and wasn't very impressed.
