Susan has 30 plus years of experience caring for animals. During her early childhood her mother raised and showed collies. In 1971 her parents established “Puff n Stuff” grooming, one of Longmont’s first pet grooming shops. Her parents then went on to establish “Longmont Kennels”. Susan grew up at "Longmont Kennels" where she had some 25 plus years of tutoring from her parents. Susan worked three years as a Kennel Technician during which time she learned the lesson that the MOST important part of a boarding facility was the individual care and attention of each loved pet.
Susan married Scott 19 years ago and he too began working alongside Susan at her parents Kennel. Upon the retirement of her the parents, Susan managed the kennel for the final three years of its service, adding to her experience of hiring, training, and the supervision of the technicians in addition to the daily responsibility and care of up to and over 100 pets.
