Established in 1974, Lloyd Design Corp. is one the largest 'all model' manufacturers of custom fit floor mats in the United States. It uses AutoCAD controlled, ultrasonic cutting equipment to store and cut the mat patterns. Some of the innovations that Lloyd Design Corp. has completed include Rubbertite floor mats in nearly 3,500 patterns in 2002, Diamond Plate pattern carpet mats in 2001, Mechanical mat fastening system in 1982 and Mat fasteners for Volkswagen cars in 1999, among others.
