I have used this cab company for fifteen years now and encountered three rude cab drivers and a very rude dispatcher. Many of the drivers are courteous and understanding and there is at least one very nice dispatcher for the company. After tonight I will never call them again. I called for a round trip ride that normally takes 10 min to arrive. After a forty min wait I called to check on where the cab was to find they did not put the pickup in at all and she got rude then ordered a cab for me. When the cab arrived I was made to give a deposit, which i never had to do. The driver was rude and said that he was the boss and that no matter the complaint nothing would be done, that customers don't count and good luck with finding a different company since they have thirty cabs. They also harass you after your trip by calling you and asking if you still need a cab and when you answer their questions they act as though you are stupid and don't know what the color yellow is then proceed to get rude and nasty before hanging up on you.

Let me tell u how frustrating it is to call a cab from lincoln be told it will only be 15 to 20 minutes. then when u calll to check on ur cab 45 mins later and they say ur cab had been there and honked and they called you anf said you didn't answer but the truth of the matter is you stood for 45 mins at the front door the cab never came. and never even got a phone call you call and talk to a extremely. rude B**** who threats u like u are crap i believe lincoln needs To get the damn shit straight and figure out what the hell and where the hell they're sending their cab drivers too Not only that maybe they should make them bath. put on deodorant and maybe a little Cologne And I think they need to fire the female dispatcher be set before They lose all their business because of one rude Apple in the entire bunch And the worst part about it is I have a family member that work in the office at this cab company and still they can't get it right I recommend using other cab such as World Peace at least he get you to where you need to go and when he says 7 minutes he means 7 minutes
Terrible Service by
I called Lincoln cab hours before my train was about to depart. Thirty minutes prior to me having to catch my train I called to inquire about the location of the cab and Vicky (their very rude employee) stated that I would have to wait another hour before someone would show up. While explaining the severity of the situation I was hung up on and later found out she cancelled my cab. It's unfortunate to have to depend on such poor service. I hope that another respectable and courteous cab service opens up so that people whom live in Springfield will no longer have to rely on Lincoln Cab.

Picked up within ten or fifteen minutes of my call and delivered to my destination by the most efficient route. The driver was courteous and professional in his work. I would recommend this service to anyone.

This is a very poorly run cab company. I called an hour early to be at an appointment and the dispatcher told me they would be there in ten to fifteen minutes. Fourth minutes later I called and they asked for directions. Wtf! The dispatcher then had an attitude when I cancelled the cab. I'll never call them again. They easily could have asked me how to get to where I was in the first place. If I ever start a business, it will be to put them out of business.
Lincoln Yellow Cab caused me to miss AMTRAK connection. by
Think twice before calling Lincoln Yellow Cab if you need to go to Amtrak or Capitol Airport and make your train or flight on time. I called more than an hour before my train was due into the Springfield Amtrak station on January 13. Ten minutes before the train arrived, I was forced to cancel my train reservations because cab was a no show and it takes at least 15 minutes to get to the station from my apartment, I called the dispatch 3 times and was told : "The driver's almost there." I am disabled and move very slowly so I need time to purchase tickets, transfer luggage, If cabs are so busy, Lincoln Yellow Cab must tell customers that they can't meet the timeline commitment.. As a disabled person on a fixed income, I could ill afford the $40 loss on the train ticket.Seriously if you need to catch a flight or train on time, take mass transit, hitch a ride on a turtle or walk. You're more likely to be on time. So no I won't call Lincoln Yellow Cab again

Yellow cab has the option to ask for a female driver if you feel unsafe at night which I really appreciate. At night I feel better about taking a taxi by them knowing that they have that option, although I haven't had an issue with any of the male drivers it is just a safety concern for me.
Dex doesn't know -- no accesible cabs by
I was greatly disappointed to learn that the listing stating there were "Handicapped Accessible" cabs was wrong.

Strongly recommend not using this cab company. Last Friday I called them to have a taxi at our home to transport 5 people to the train station. I called at 8:45 AM & asked that they be here at 9:30. They were not here at that time. We called 3 times & were told they would be here "in a minute". We finally decided we just needed to get there, threw our luggage & selves into our car & were racing to the station when we saw the Amtrak train pass us. We got to the station, the train was still there, but then we couldn't find a place to park (WHICH IS WHY WE WERE RELYING ON THE CAB COMPANY). We watched the train leave without us. When I called to complain, I was just talking to dead air...no apology or anything...
