We emphasize that the Bible is the only rule of faith and practice for Christians in all matters of life. We know that a verse by verse expository bible teaching ministry produces happy, fulfilled and victorious Christian living (II Timothy 3:16- 17).

God has chosen to manifest His word through preaching (Titus 1:3). It is through preaching that God is pleased to save them that believe (I Corinthians 1:21). The church has a divine mandate to preach the Gospel to every creature (Mark 16:15).

At Lifegate Baptist Church our emphasis is on verse by verse expository Bible preaching that speaks to the heart-needs of people today. This emphasis is consistent with our desire to conform to the practice of the early church which "ceased not to teach and preach Christ Jesus" (Acts 5:42). We are not a King James Version only church.
