What is Level 1?
Level 1 DUI / DWAI Education consists of the following:

DUI Class - DWAI Classes Level 1 12 hours of ADAD approved DUI / DWAI class education over a minimum 2-day period
No more than 6 hours of DUI / DWAI class education can beconducted in one calendar day
Typically conducted in a group or class
Level I Education is not appropriate for someone:
Who has had more than one impaired driving offense
One offense with a high Blood Alcohol Content

DUI Class - DWAI Classes Level 1 & 2 In The Denver, Colorado Area

What is Level 2?
When DUI Class - DWAI Classes Level 2 is required, LSBI follows Level 2 Education and the DUI Class can range in length from 5 to 10 months depending on the track assigned. Track assignment depends on whether a person has prior impaired driving offenses, their Blood Alcohol Content and other clinical indicators. These track recommendations are made by the alcohol evaluator (probation) or in the absence of an evaluation, the treatment agency. The following are the DUI Class Level 2 therapy track guidelines:

DUI Class - DWAI Classes Level 2 Track A
42 hours over 21 weeks, usually for a first time offender with a Blood Alcohol Content below .17

DUI Class - DWAI Classes Level 2 Track B
52 hours over 26 weeks, usually for a first time offender with a Blood Alcohol Content of .17 or above

DUI Class - DWAI Classes Level 2 Track C
68 hours over 34 weeks, usually for someone with a prior DWAI / DUI, and a Blood Alcohol Content below .17

DUI Class - DWAI Classes Level 2 Track D
86 hours over 43 weeks, usually for someone with a prior DWAI / DUI, and a Blood Alcohol Content of .17 or above.
