Idk how someone can say that this is the worst daycare in town. we came from an abusive daycare where my child was force fed food till he puked and held in a closet. then I was forced to come get him because he has the flu. yeah right...To this day I cannot get him to eat certain foods and freaks out if we drive in that direction of town.
Lil Acorns has been the BEST daycare I could ask for. My kid has ADHD/ADD and they have worked with us so much.
hours of operation are perfect
clean and bright environment
good healthy food
friendly professional staff
great prices
they put on parties for all holidays for the kids and non holiday
festivities
buses running to and from school (not may daycares provide this service)
preschool right in the facility
they take kids on field trips
provide t-ball for the older kids in summer with their buses
preschool graduation ceremony with cap and gowns, cake, certificates with class pictures etc.
(how many daycares to that for kids)
informative (ex: no bus runs due to roads and weather or school/daycare closings)
playground outside
very organized
tons of arts and crafts sent home
x/mas bag of fruit for each kid

I will be sad when the day comes to where my kid is to old to attend this daycare. I have a great relationship with the staff and we feel safe and at ease knowing they are watching my child. Shouldn't we feel comfortable knowing he/she is in good hands all day??? (definitely)!!!! I highly recommend and have recommended a lot of parents to bring their children there and I will continue doing so. I was recommended from co-workers that took there kids there as well and have loved it there and were sad to leave when their kids grew up.
if you are not happy at your current daycare, find some where new and don't cause false problems against the staff and make it miserable for us parents who have no issues.

As I was searching for a childcare center for my child even though I read a lot of bad reviews I still gave the center a benefit of the doubt as I though maybe some of the reviews are untrue. But when I had a first hand experience with the center I will never recommend this to families who have kids on their formative years because some of the teachers are rude and mean. The owner/operator is so hard to reach and hard to raise your concerns. Or if you do raise your concerns she wasn't professional enough as she starts raising her voice or brush off your concern. And since the center been there for a long time, their system seems to be ancient and she seem not open to change.

If you have smart kids its not advisable to put them in this center as they will regress in the overall development as they don't seem to have enough staff to teach and be with the kids. Material wise they also don't seem to have the necessary or needed materials for a child/kid development.

I am hoping in the coming years that there will be Childcare Centers that will open in Minot that has the capability to care for and help in the development of the children they are entrusted to care for by their parents who needed to work to make a living and provide for their family. Not a center that is run like a business as most of the childcare centers in Minot. Also an Agency that will oversee all the Childcare Centers to see to it that they do not abuse their licenses.
