CLAIMS to be able to handle any sort of Transmission problem HOGWASH! After (6) weeks my car was in MUCH WORSE condition. Would not provide any used parts. Held my car HOSTAGE...... I DONOT recommend, Was a BIG mess for the next repair shop to fixDAVE DOES NOT deserve to be in business, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!.......................

They don't deserve to be in business, This business owner writes his own misleading reviews. After (1) month my car was MUCH WORSE than when left. Held my car hostage unless I signed some baloney document stating that I would not review the rotten service I got.

Kept my car a whole month and after installing many USED ( WORN OUT PARTS) the car was worse than when I left it. Would NOT PROVIDE any removed parts as any proof that anything had been done. Has made many threats of LAW Suits do to my REVIEWS as on YELP SAME TIME & MONEY stay away from Dave and this backwards shop, Dave is running a patchwork shop SLAMMING JUNK . NOT the type of work done that I wanted

Kept my car more than a month, installed a bunch of used parts, installed parts that didnot need replacing. After more than 30 days wanted my car back, Held the keys of my car hostage unless I signed a document to stay silent about the situation. Would not give any old parts that were suposed to be replaced. Next shop had to start over with a replacement "core" Transmission and REMANUFACTURE it instead of the original one that Dave made a mess of. I didnot like being treated by Dave by his many stories. Spent more that $7,000 to make the car go again, would NOT recommend anyone to bring thier car or truck to this shop.

Dave followed up on my postings on Craig's list WARNING consumer's about his shop, He tried to intimidate me with threats. As he kept my car and would NOT RELEASE MY KEYS without signing a document to stay silent about this situation. Dave cost me a lot of time money and anguish. I did not like my car being held more or less hostage.

Dave installed a bunch of USED Parts which were JUNK had the car more than a month, Also installed new drive axles that didnot need replacing. After more than 30 days kept getting all kinds of BULL from Dave, Had to remove my car from his shop was VERY DISAPOINTED in ALL Dave's many stories.The next shop had to start OVER with a different "Core Transmission". It costs more than $7,000 to get the car to go again. He, Dave COST me a lot of $$ and time. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SHOP to anyone,,,,

Legacy Transmission and Gear is the ABSOLUTE BEST!! Don’t even think of taking your vehicle anywhere else. When our transmission went out on our truck they came to the rescue, turning a difficult situation into a pleasant experience. I can't even begin to describe how awesome Dave and his wife are! Family owned local business with incredible customer service that is rarely seen these days. Excellent quality work, affordable prices, quick turn around, accommodating and honest. They truly care about their customers, take great pride in their work and treat you like family. I was so impressed with them! I will definitely be a customer for life! HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
