SHODDY WORK - BAD WARRANTY SUPPORT by soggy shingle - 08/23/2009Our roof suffers obvious water damage after 11 years. The roof was warranted unconditionally for 25 years against water damage or defective workmanship. The Tom Leach Roofing representative (Aaron Ortman, pres.) has not made a good faith attempt to resolve the issue in the 90 days we have been negotiating with him. He personally inspected our roof prior to recommending a complete re-roof. Pressed for a more reasonable solution we were offered a repair several other roofers called unacceptable. When ask to stand unequivicolly behind it, he has taken his offer off the table and now claims to not understand the nature of the problem, refusing to do anything without further investigation.They still have the same warranty statement on their bid. BE WARNED, you will have to fight tooth and nail to get them to stand behind it if they will at all.
