Long review, but necessary.
I simply needed a quote on tires for my road bike. $570 and over one week with the bike. Sadly found myself talking to Jeremy in service who was instantly rude and turse in conversation. Lacked the interpersonal and social skills to communicate simple subjects we expect their expertise on (i.e. service, pricing, wait times, and expectations) Upon approaching the Sales Manager Nick, I found the example Jeremy emulates and found that these two are eaither related, or drinking buddies by the way they teamed up on me. Nick was red faced and slobbering and told me to "get the F out of his store or I call the Layton Police"... wait, because he is mad? Both were very narrow minded (one track mind), short tempered, argumentative, and are in great need of some serious customer service training. I have has experiances with both before with similar results, but time to share this story. Instead of "talking the customer off the proverbial ledge", they both suggested the customer jump, fast, as there are other customers we need to be disposed of.
I am a successful small business, Army Veteran owner and have terminated relations with employees for similar behaviours.
I will rally all my aquantences in boycote of Layton Cycle Sales and service (minus parts, they are great) we will be going to Newgate, same ownership pool, they just simp ln y have better staff and are well worth the drive.
Side note: Since May 2018 I am the proud new owner of a 2018 RZR 2 seater, a 2016 GSX-S 750F, four used Honda 400ex's, and in search of a Honda or Suzuki 450 dirt bike.... NONE from Layton Cycle. Do you think they care?
