Laurelwood Animal Hospital was opened on June 12, 2006. Veterinarians Ron Earp and Lynn Erdman recognized a need for quality care for pets. We greatly value the trust you place in us, and strive every day to be the best source to turn to for keeping your friend happy and healthy.Currently, Laurelwood Animal Hospital offers a full range of companion animal services, including routine surgery, nutrition and behavior counseling, parasite control and preventative medicine.The hospital also offers comprehensive dental care as well as all-digital radiology (x-rays) and advanced imaging through an all-digital circular CT scanner.

Warning by Wilks - 11/18/2009Ron Earp DVM is not to be trusted. He focuses on minimizing and avoiding tests, xrays, in-office exams. His strategy is to get as many clients as possible, by minimizing their expenses. He's known as a convenient/easy doctor. He explains problems away, and lets weeks and months pass, until it's often too late. He is incompetent at rectal exams. He's incompetent at complex diagnosis. He likely will diagnose an obscure issue that is unrelated to what is actually happen. Dog holding tail inward between legs, and straining to defecate. Dr. Earp diagnosed Cold Water Tail Syndrome. 3 other vets, later, laughed and were outraged at this ridiculous diagnosis. Dog rarely if ever was in any water swimming. Tail was being held way inward due to rectal abnormalities. Obviously. 3 vets say it was very obvious. A rectal exam was warranted. Months later, 3 days before dog's death, Earp finally did a rectal exam, and said everything was normal. 2 other vets, a day later, easily found a cancerous
