The food is over price and not to good.

Great food and service! This is a classic italian restaurant. I would strongly suggest the Chicken Spedieni or Raviolis! Dont forget the Tartufo for dessert!

my family and i went here over the weekend.. the food and vino were delicious, and the service and staff where great.. try their lobster.. Yummy!!

Went here with my parents a couple months ago. We were quoted a wait time of "not more than 25 minutes". After waiting 45 minutes and not recognizing anybody in the waiting area (because they were all now seated), we asked the hostess how long it would be, since we had already waited nearly an hour. They looked through their notes, and couldn't find our name. One minute later, they called us up; they had obviously forgotten we were even there. As for the food, we only had one good dish out of 4. The rest of the dishes were way too rich, and cost an arm and a leg. Will not be back; I'd try Mezzodi's or Olive Garden instead.

I eat here every time I come to Des Moines. Everyone I take to this place loves it. Always get the chicken Spenini. Toasted Ravioli is also good. Well worth the visit.

This place isn't a secret, based on the crowds, but it's really good. The Chicken Spedini is one of the most unique dishes I've had. It has the feel of an old fashioned Italian place from the 1950s, but that's a good thing in my book. Get there early if you need quick service.
