I have always been nervous going to a dentist. When my family came to town I started asking around about who we should go. Dr. Swett's name kept coming up. Everyone told me about how he taught part time at the U of Iowa Dental School, was up to date on all the latest technology and was good for kids and adults. I took four of us to an appointment on the same day and we all (kids included) had a good experience. One of my boys had several cavities in his baby teeth and Dr. Swett was able to fill them without a shot using his tooth cutting laser. He is very patient and willing to answer all my questions (and I have a lot). The whole team was great. We fill lucky to have found him.

I am an older baby boomer who has struggled finding a dentist who listens to what I want and need. I have gone to several dentists over the years who are in such a rush I'm not sure what they have done until I get my bill. Dr. Swett took the time to meet with me individually before I ever was put in one of the rooms. He listened to my concerns and then came up with several options that I could choose from that solved my problems. Dr. Swett didn't push me into a decision or try to run up my bill. He managed to save several teeth another dentist wanted to pull and gave me the confidence to invest in my smile. Finally, I have found a dentist I can trust.

I went to Dr. Swett for a second opinion on how to fix my ugly caps/crowns on my front teeth and I'm glad I did. He gave me a lot more options than the first dentist and did all the work in his office. The result was better than I thought I would ever have. I went from having crowns that didn't match my other teeth to crowns that match so well, noone knows they aren't real.

I have been a patient for approximately 6 years before moving out of the area. Even now, I plan to travel 5 hours because of the extreme care and excellent service of Dr. Swett and his very attentive office staff. The goal was to have a "million dollar smile". Mission accomplished. :)

Dr. Swett and his staff have always treated my son and me with great care. Getting cavities filled with his laser is painless. He is conservative in his treatment and takes extra steps to make sure the choices he makes will be the best for you. I recommend him highly to anyone looking for a dentist who will care for their dental health long-term, not just what is the easiest or fastest solution at the time.

Dr. Swett and his staff provide a warm and welcoming environment when you visit his office for dental care. I have been a patient of Dr. Swett's for over 20 years and have always had excellent service. When you enter the office you are always greeted with a smile and a helpful attitude to guide you through the process. A few times over the years I have experienced a toothache/sensitivity and Dr. Swett has always found a way to fix the problem (almost) painlessly. It seems like he has the best new technologies to offer his patients. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Swett for exceptional dental care!

Our family has gone to Dr. Swett for several years. We like that he is continually learning and doing things in his practice to make dentistry easier for us. I like that he uses digital x-rays and his tooth cutting laser has eliminated the need for novocaine for some of my fillings. My husband had a toothache once and needed a root canal. Dr. Swett took care of it in his office and he didn't have to wait to see a specialist like some of our friends have to do. Now he's doing implants which I haven't needed yet but it's nice to know they're available. His team is really great with small children as they take their time and do not rush. My kids love going to the dentist and that makes me really happy. One of the newest things that impresses me about Dr. Swett is he's teaching at the University of Iowa Dental School. I would recommend him. He's really conservative in his approach to dentistry and easy to talk to.
