On July 9, 2012 we had the experience of going to Larry Morton's Transmission. I had talked with him last week by phone. He was quite knowledgable. He was laid back and indicated we could bring the vehicle in on the following business day and he'd look at it. If there was nothing wrong with the vehicle, there would be no charge.

He checked out the vehicle and found that the problem we were experiencing was not related to the transmission. He even commented on how well maintained the transmission was.

This guy is a credit to the automotive industry. So often folks get ripped off. There is certainly no indication of that occurring here. He was as pleasant in person, if not more so, than he was on the phone. I would not give a second throught to going to see him.

PS - as for the guy with a Volkswagon, they are crap. Especially a Jetta.
