What a great place! I chose Larissa's because three of my girlfriends suggested it and

I was not disappointed. I ended up taking my daughter there as well, for her bridal

gown, and it fit like a glove! Her four bridesmaids also took their dresses there and

every one of them was pleased with the fit as well as the prices. My mother's dress

also was tailored to perfection, and only in a week's time, since I waited till last

minute. They have a great atmosphere there, beautiful interior design and the shop is

SO CLEAN! Because I've been to other alteration shops, and trust me, some of them are

filthy.
And one more thing I like about going to Larrissa's - you're always greeted with a

sincere smile! I've been recommending this place to all my friends and relatives.

Larissa did an absolutely FABULOUS job on my wedding gown alterations!
I bought a dress (a sample, never worn) online, and needed someone to take in the bust and adjust the length (I am a 5'3"). Larissa totally delivered. Only her skills could get me to drive from Kinston out to Goldsboro for fittings ;)
The time and care she took with my dress was just amazing and the attention to detail was incredible. My dress didn't have a waistline to it so we weren't sure at first how to bustle it, but Larissa came up with a solution that looked really beautiful. The price was also extremely reasonable for the amount of time and energy Larissa put into perfectly tailoring the dress.
I would highly recommend Larissa for your wedding dress! (Just don't wait until the last minute - I hear she's busy :)

Larrissa was recommended by the bridal shop as I needed alterations made to my dress within a short timeframe.
Larrissa and Nancy both were brilliant from the first fitting- despite my dress being complex to alter they did it in plenty of time for me to fly out for my wedding- making sure I wasn’t stressed!
The fit of the dress was perfect- so many people complimented on how good it looked- which was not only due to the designer but the way these ladies tailored it to suit me.
I would highly recommend them to any bride to be-it’s a special day so it’s worth getting the best to make sure you look and feel amazing.

I brought my wedding dress to Larissa after another seamstress recommended her. She completed all the work I needed done in two weeks. Just yesterday I went and picked it up. It fits like a glove and the hem is perfect. I am so pleased with how it looks. Not only does she do good work, but she is super sweet! Brides, don't fret bringing your dress to her!

They do a wonderful job on my jeans:the original hems are put back, you'd never know they been hemmed, and also I've taken a lot of knit dresses and pants, and I always get the original , stretchy stitching on them, just like they came from the store. I've never had this quality work anywhere else! Very satisfied!

Larissa and her team did an outstanding job altering my very detailed wedding dress. I was extremely pleased with their work! It was as if the dress was made just for me :-) They also altered my mom's dress and my sister's bridesmaid dress. Everything was perfect and my dreams were fulfilled. My lace wedding dress by Maggie Sottero was ordered offine, it was two sizes too big and hung on me like a sack. They practically re-made it to fit my body like a glove and gave me that hour-glass shape I wanted. I looked amazing on my wedding day and in my pictures! It was a miracle! I tell everyone to go there.

These ladies are the best of the best. They saved my wedding! If you buy a dress do not get it altered at the dress store or with anyone else - call Larrissa's . I bought my dress from a store in downtown Raleigh - they ruined my dress: not only was it too short, it was noticeably off-center. Larissa managed to squeeze me in and performed a miracle on my dress! She exceeded my expectations in making what I thought was a ruined dress completely beautiful. She was a joy to work with and made an amazing looking bustle for my cathedral lace train! If I were you I would not let anyone else touch your bridal gown!

I love coming here to have all of my alterations complete. I especially love the monogramming and embroidery they do for all my children...best place in Goldsboro and the best staff to work with.

I had a prom dress that was 2 sizes too big, it needed major alterations, and it was heavily beaded. Larrissa's was referred to me by a friend. When I got it back, it fit perfect, Larrissa did an ecxellent job, it didn't look like it was altered at all. Great place, will definitely go back.

Had a beaded prom gown hem at larrissa's did a great. Job!!! Highly recommend for any formal gown. Very nice, and great turn around. Time

Larissa’s Alterations has been my favorite place for all of my alterations needs. I have been Larissa’s loyal customer for many years. She has made a number of adjustments to my pants, blouses, skirts and dresses. Whether I buy my clothing item online or in the store, she always knows how to work the magic with her hands and the sewing machine to enhance the look and make me look great in my new outfit. Her work is always done very delicately, with all additional stitches looking like a part of the original work; every item is always neatly and professionally done. She is a master in her field. You can trust her with any piece of your wardrobe. She is always smiling and welcoming when customers come into her alterations studio. She makes helpful suggestions and has an eye to catch any detail that may enhance the entire outfit or a particular look. Larissa’s imagination and creativity helped me to develop a couple of my own designs for the t-shirts and blouses. I highly recommend her services to all.

Premier alterations and monograms...Larrissa the owner will pin everything according to the best fit for you.She keeps up with trends in lengths.If asked,she will tell you if the garment is worth keeping or having altered.She replaces jean trim on the bottoms of your jeans if they are special.Does beautiful monograming.Can do hebrew monograming.Price is appropriate for such high quality work.

Larissa is amazing when it comes to clothing alterations. She has made a number of alterations to pants, skirts, and dresses, including the dresses for ballroom dancing (very tricky for alterations). In one particular instance, I ordered a gorgeous white gown with delicate red roses, covered in numerous rhinestones to be shipped from Japan; however, when ordering a dress online there is always a risk that the size of the dress will not work out. As in this case, the dress arrived and it was too big. I had very limited time to get the dress ready for a dance competition. We knew Larissa was the right person for the job. She has had great experience making adjustments to prom, evening and wedding gowns. Larissa skillfully took the extra fabric from the sides and the bottom of the dress, thus making it a perfect fit and enhancing the design of the roses on the front and the back of the dress. She finished the work on time, not only meeting but exceeding our expectations. My dress looked magnificent on the floor. I highly recommend Larissa’s services for all alterations needs.

Love, Love, Love this place! Great Atmosphere! They are so helpful and polite. They do monogramming now and do such an awesome job at it. I have a young child and like to take special items there to have his name added. I would recommend this business to any and everyone!

I've only had hems here and they do a good job with them. Always solid, never had a problem. I will admit that they are a little more expensive than some other places, but for the convenience of where they're located I'm quite happy with everything I take there. They can also be a little direct there, but that's fine. They're the experts.

DO not go there. I agree with the last lady. Larissa is a "rip-off " artist! I am calling the B.B. B. Told me one price and changed it when I went to pick it up. She would not tell me at first.... She will not be in business much longer!
