Lakeview Junior High School enrolls students in grades six through eight. The school offers math, language arts, science, social studies and physical education classes. It also conducts programs in applied technology, music, and health and consumer education, as well as provides foreign language classes in Spanish. The school features a library and media center that organizes various reading programs and maintains a collection of books, databases, reference materials and stationery items. Lakeview Junior High School additionally offers school counseling programs that focus on issues related to academics, career, and personal and social development. Its nurse provides health lessons on various topics. It provides a lunch menu that includes cheeseburger, beef dishes, chicken nuggets, french fries, breadsticks, pizzas, spaghetti, nachos, fruits and vegetables and milk. In addition, the school operates a parent-teacher association and student council. Located in Downers Grove, Ill., Lakeview Junior High School is a part of Center Cass School District 66.
