We at Lakefront Children's Academy, a private child care center and educational facility, give our all toward physically, mentally, and emotionally preparing children for their futures.

Conveniently located in the heart of Chicago, IL near a variety of cultural venues, we offer an enhanced curriculum with low to above-standard child-to-staff ratios and a loving, nurturing environment with closed circuit video monitoring for our parents' peace of mind.

In our classrooms, the teachers provide stimulating environments and strongly encourage the children to use self-discipline. In this way, the children learn to get along with each other and understand the impact their actions have on one another.

We offer full-time, part-time, half-day, and 3-day-a-week schedules for children two-to five years old and after-school care for children seven to twelve.

Our curriculum features:

• Computer readiness
• Foreign languages (mandatory Spanish and French with the option of Italian, Portuguese, or Swahili)
• Math and reading readiness
• Science
• Arts & crafts
• Field rips to museums, TV studios, fire houses, the zoo, & more
• Physical education classes

We also offer optional private piano lessons and seasonal swimming instruction.
