Been a patient of Dr. Segal for years and couldn't be more satisfied with his care and attentiveness to the my whole health. He takes time to listen even when the line is out the door.He aways sides on precaution. I have taken my family in for a wide variety of ailments and always get the best personal care of a good doctor.

My family is fairly new to the area and when we were looking for a health care provider in the area Dr Segal was recommended. I was able to be seen the same day and both the doctor and staff were attentive and pleasant. Working on a walkin basis as they do, I was pleasantly surprised at the effeciency and kindness that was extended to me. I will definitely be using Dr.Segal long term.

I went in to see Dr. Segal because my regular doctor was unavailable that day. I had a severe cough, congestion, diarrhea, and my body was in pain. He walked in looked at the nurses notes and in 2 seconds determined that I had a virus that was on its way out. He told me that prescribing a medication would do more harm than good and that I should just wait it out and will feel better shorlty. It's been a week since then and the virus has spread into my ears causing fluid build up and pain in both of my ears and my cough and congestion has yet to go away. I am extremely disappointed in Dr. Segals lazy diaganosis. He rushed into a decision with out properly identifying the symptoms causing my illness to gain strength over the following week. I will never go back to the Lake Zurich Family Clinic again. P.S. His bedside manner is poor at best.
Couldn't be happier by: one of his 1st patients

I have been a patient of Dr. Segal's for 25 years & have seen him for just about everything under the sun (cold , viruses , broken ribs , degenerative back , etc...). I have never once felt rushed or pressured by him or his staff. Personally I have seen doctors all over the country for some of my medical problems. I have even had surgeries at world renowned facilities such as the Mayo Clinic! In comparison the treatment/care that I have received from Dr. Segal is second to no one!!!Lake Zurich Family Treatment Center currently cares for my 3- children as well ranging in age from 10yrs. to 8mths. old & will for as long as Dr. Stewart Segal is practicing medicine............We have recommended many friends & family to Dr. Segal & will continue to without hesitation :-)))
Impossible to say enough positive things about Dr. Segal

Our family were all patients of Dr. Segal for several years back in the early 80's but were forced to change doctors due to our PPO. My health plan changed 2 years ago and I immediately switched back to Dr. Segal. During the years of our PPO medical care our standard of treatment was so sub par that it was absolutely amazing and awe inspiring to return to Lake Zurich Family Treatment Center once again and to receive the quality of concerned care that Dr. Segal alone seems to provide. If you are fed up with being mistreated and misdiagnosed then you are in for a surprise if you choose to visit Lake Zurich Family Treatment Center. I just wish there was some way to really give Dr. Segal his due but hopefully in this review he will see how much his loving care means to his patients and how very very much we appreciate him both as a person as well as the most informed, well rounded and considerate doctor in Illinois. Recently I had to be hospitalized at Good Shepherd Hospital and I was
Over 20 years satisfaction for entire family

Years ago I met Dr. Segal on a soccer field. We started talking and I very impressed with his philosophy. At that time as a young parent, my husband and I had an internal medicine doctor and our children went to a pediatric office. I wasn't happy when I walked into the pediatric office, walked out 45 minutes later with excessive blood tests, usually a diagnosis of a "virus", feeling uneasy and a big bill In the course of one year, I switched us all to Dr. Segal. He treated us all because as a family of 5, whatever we got usually wanted to run through the enitre family. There isn't enough space to list 20 years of excellent care from Dr. Segal and his staff. Yesterday is a perfect example. My daughter is getting married. She went in for her yearly and they feared something was wrong. They calmed us, IMMEDIATELY got to the bottom of the problem while giving a solution that would not harm her mentally or physically in anyway or change anything radically before her wedding and honeym

Dr. Stewart Segal is a GREAT doctor. His physician assistants, Maki and Jack, are truly professional, capable, and smart. All three have truly truly good bedside manner. These are pros you can talk with. And they take the time to explain things. And they all stay abreast of the newest and latest medical information and technology. And when any member of the family has called after hours, we get a call back -- from Doctor Segal, almost right away. Doctor Segal's nurses and office staff are pleasant and efficient. Everybody in our family is very very pleased. BTW (no small thing), Dr. Segal SAVED MY LIFE! Read on. I'm a man in his mid-50's. I had accepted the advice of my mate to see Dr. Segal the next time I saw a doctor.[She and her kids and parents had been Dr. Segal patients for many years, and she always sung his praises.] During my first checkup with him, he gave me a prescription for a stress test at a local hospital. I didn't go. Next time I saw him, he pushed me hard, very hard,
Dr. Segal 's office staff is terrible

My family and I have been patients of Dr. Segal for 5 years. Today I was extremely disappointed. I had been there yesterday for a physical for my 14 year old son and told them I would be back the next day for my 11 year old's physical. I double checked the time they would be open on Friday. I was told 3pm. I was also told (by a nurse) that 1:30pm would be a great time to come in because it tends to be less crowded at that time. So, the next day I signed in at 1:38. There was one man ahead of us and one women who signed in after us. I was the only one asked what I was there for. When I stated it was a school physical. They informed me they were closing at 2pm and I would not be seen and I was asked to leave. The man ahead of us was never asked what he was there for and was called back into a examine room and the women after us was never asked what she was there for and was also not asked to leave. I felt the office staff was extremely rude and unprofessional.
