Lake Geneva Country Meats is a family owned and operated business since 1965, located just 3 short miles east of Lake Geneva on Hwy 50. John and Rita Leahy started the business together operating with just a few employees strictly as a custom slaughtering plant. Through the years the business has evolved into a multi-faceted enterprise with over 20 employees that is managed by the daughters and sons-in laws of John and Rita. Not only do we slaughter and custom process animals for the home freezer, we run a large sausage operation, wholesale business, and have a very busy retail store featuring all our own cuts of beef, pork, lamb, hams, bacons and dozens of varieties of fresh and cooked sausages. We are a USDA federally inspected operation that has a federal meat inspector on the premises each day. The highest standards of safety and sanitation are followed at our plant and cleanliness and quality are a highly valued premium in our business. THE BEST PLACE TO GET FRESH SMOKED DOG BONES!~ right as you walk in the door on your left is a bucket with fresh dogs bones from the cow...all sizes and very reasonably priced. You take the tongs and get what you want. Your dog will love these bones and they last long too!~

This place is a must stop. Friendly and very knowledgeable staff. Family owned and family worked. FANTASTIC meats and complimentary products to go with your meals. I went in to get my meat for my dinner and ended up buying my entire meal with their beautiful produce and great deli and salads. Able to serve up breakfast, lunch, dinner, and appetizers to my guests and family with ease because of the great shopping fun I had at Lake Geneva Country Meats. I also can highly recommend all the frozen meats because I live quite a distance from LGCM and stock up on frozen food so I can keep eating the great food for months before I can get back to the store on another trip. This place makes shopping fun and makes meal time easy and guaranteed delicious.
