I'm a single mom who just had a fire last yr and lost everything, and i took the like new Generator that got me through the bad winter we just had down to lady and son, i had used it to camp on the property till i could get some decent living arrrangments, and slowly trying to get bk up on my feet,there wasnt anything wrong with generator so i traded it to stan plus $200 for a cub cadet riding mower in which it was supposed to be in good working order of course i started it and made sure it ran or at least i thought but when i got it home the next day and went to start it i discovered it wouldn't start or mow the now belt that i had looked at before was shredded and the battery must have been changed cause it started right up before but at home not even a click, I called him to get the mower fixed and he never came to pick it up so i tried 2 other times to contact him and he never called me bk to set the situation straight, So clearly this proves they are very dishonest and do not care about the customer and now im left with a heap of junk in my yard that i can not move on my own and its a shame after everything i 've been through they would take advantage of a lady like me when i honestly traded them good they got a nice generator and i have nothing so i would not do business with them at all they will and do take advantage of unsuspecting women its a shame so my recommendation is to stay clear of this place they are dishonest and its just bad business

Condtinued: Since stan and lady n equip. didnt even try to help me with the mower that i purchased from them i took it to a nearby dealer in which i have heard lots of good things about and he was very nice and eager to help me get the mower fixed, but of course since i took it there after waiting days with no answer from stan and his staff , they finally called me bk and then several times after the fact to try it seemed to rectify the situation and in what i thought he would pay for the parts at least that the mower needed but after my friend talked to him over the phone he was very rude and he in no way planned on helping the situation he only wanted to work on the mower in a attemp to seem helpful so he could paid his pockets even more but i already had it at a repair shop and that would make a already bad siutation worse, i mean they expected me to get it and take it bk to them after everything they put me through so again i say this is* not a good place to do business with they only care about their selves i would rate them lower then one * but they only go as low at 1, i have them 5 stars in below review but that was for being very dishonest and unprofessional so either way u like
