About La Paz Optometric Center La Paz Optometric Center was established in 1973 by optometrist Dr. Richard N. Frieder. It started as a small family practice surrounded by rural ranch land in the Saddleback Valley. As the Saddleback Valley developed, the practice quickly grew as well. Over the past thirty years the patient base has steadily grown. This largely in part to La Paz Optometric's strong reputation of expertise in vision correction and family eye care. Families continue to refer their children and their grandchildren to La Paz Optometric Center. Today, La Paz Optometric Center has grown from one doctor to six. They have a staff of ten professionals to better service the individual needs of each and every one of their patients. This includes an incredibly friendly front desk staff, who will make you feel right at home ; a very well knowledgeable back office staff, who are experts in vision care insurance ; and a team of opticians who are on the cutting edge of lens technology and fashion.
