Will let me start off saying that yody does what I have seen a great job on hair, so that's why I decided to give get a try... now her shop is a hood hot mess with no professionalism... I was going for a sew in nd the mist of getting my hair braided the girl stop said she be back didn't come back to three hrs later do I'm stuck their just sitting.. other than that and how ratchet the salon is and how unprofessional they are it was cool because I did like the way my hair came out.. which ALL I got was a flat iron and a face framing bang so she really couldn't go wrong lol.. but the work I seen her do is really good

Found out this stylist Yody had been sued for terrible work she performed on a client. The client won her case which says that Yody def did something wrong and the judge agreed. But I still decided I would give her a try cause a friend said she was great. When I talk about dirty salon this is it. The chair you sit in to get your hair braided is unstable and on an uneven surface so the stylist has to stand on the side of it to keep it from spinning. Dirty salon and you can tell they don't take their money and put it back into the salon. Horrible attitudes of the staff and inappropriate conversations. Save the inappropriate talk for you home not your business. Needless to say my sew-in weave looked like a wig and I will never be coming back here. Please beware!

Worst hair experience of my life. First of all, more than halfway through my service I found out the person I made my appointment with wasn't even the one doing my hair! I came in and clearly stated my appointment was with Yody and having never met her before I was under the impression that the woman who told me she would be starting my hair shortly was Yody. However, all Yody does is cut huge unflattering chunks out of your virgin weave.



Not only that, but I left the shop in TEARS because not only did this hack of a stylist hack my weave, but it was installed to look like one of the most unflattering wigs I have ever seen in my life. She then had the NERVE to charge me full price ($100) when I was CLEARLY unhappy with the results and had the AUDACITY to charge me another $65 to fix it.



I would not recommend this raggedy, ratchet, classless establishment to anyone, ever. The building itself was filthy and is clearly rarely swept properly and probably never mopped. Only one of maybe 6 to 10 stylists even had a jar of barbicide, HELLO HEALTH CODE VIOLATION. .. Not to mention half of them probably aren't and never have been properly licensed. Next time, I'm sticking with my gut instinct and turning around as SOON as I see a salon that looks like that one did..
