He graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in business administration from Illinois Wesleyan University in 1978 and graduated cum laude from Northwestern University Law School (Chicago) in 1982. He was the Topics Editor of the Northwestern Journal of Criminal Law & Criminology, and the law clerk to Chief Justice Howard C. Ryan of the Illinois Supreme Court. Keith Knochel is licensed in Arizona, California and Nevada.
Aline Knochel graduated with Highest Honors with a bachelor's degree in business administration from Washington University (St. Louis) and received her law degree from U.C.L.A. Law School in 1993. She is licensed in Arizona.
