I called in for a price on their gravel and they gave me 34 bucks/yard. I had got a different quote from a competitor not far from there and it was 12.00 cheaper per yard. They said they didn't match pricing. I wanted to support local business in my area so i was going to pay the extra. I went in and the guy said the price was 42/yard and won't go lower. I even mentioned the price over the phone and he wouldn't match that either. Needless to say shop around and you can get much better pricing
good wood, bad service

A few years ago, I brought in an older lawnmower for a small repair. After a full week of hearing nothing, I called to inquire and was told a repair would cost more than a new mower, so I told them to forget it. When I came to pick up my mower, it was handed back to me in pieces and they wanted to charge me additionally for reassembly!! I drove off with the pieces and swore never to shop at Klier's again...They sell good firewood, though.
snow blower tune-up

We had our snow blower tuned up here, and they did a good job and then offered the service to store it for us for the season. They called in the fall to remind us of the storage and then were really great at the counter when we picked it up.
Disappointing service and repair

I took my lawn mower in for a tune up. I noticed when I got it back it was harder to start and ran really rough. I took it back and the salesperson told me that I'd have to pay an additional $40 in order for them just to look at it to see what was wrong. I explained the situation and the recent money I had spent on the tune up. He was not persuaded and the clerk was really nasty telling me that he had a bad attitude because of people like me. My neighbor offered to look at it and after examining the mower told me Klier's had put in a spark plug that didn't fit the mower and the carburator was filthy. He questioned if Klier's had actually done a tune up. Be weary of this business.
