Our family has been to KC Bowl once a week this summer and it has been a lot of fun for all of us.. until today. They have signs posted that say "no outside drinks", but they look the other way when you're spending money there. Today we were spending money for bowling and $35 more for food. An employee I had never seen before waited until our credit card was run for our food and then very loudly lectured us for having brought in sodas from outside. I can understand that they want to sell their drinks to customers and not lose potential sales, but we were spending plenty in their establishment and they have never objected before. On a different subject, smoking is not allowed in businesses in California, but they did not stop a customer lighting up in the doorway and the owner smokes in the office behind the counter with the door open. The smoke was blowing out the office door and into the area around the counter. My wife has breathing difficulties and is allergic to smoke. When I mentioned the smoking the employee told me it was ok for them to smoke in the office even though the smoke ended up in the customer area.

A Great Place To Have Fun!

My boy friend took me here 5 months ago ever since I started getting into bowling and I fell in love with the place instantly. KC Bowling is owned by a sweet old man who has a great sense of humor and he gives out weekly prizes to random customers. The current pot for a perfect 300 game is $886.00 and keeps growing! There are lots of lanes so you can be sure that you get one even if the place seems to be packed. The price for a game is just perfect too, even a teenage on a lowly allowance can afford it. (It's $1.75 per person, per game. So 2 people x $1.75 x 2 games = $7.00, plus $1.00 per person to rent bowling shoes.) The score is also kept automatically on a 24" plasma TV with cool and cute graphics, designs, and animations. Bumpers for children can also be added with the easy to use keyboard! (Not to mention a custom bowling ball for children that weighs only 5 Ibs.) And if you ever get hungry, they have a small food place to get some grub. Then there are some small unmentionables like the claw, vending, and 25 cent toy machines. So if you ever feel like you're in the mood for something fun to do, try checking out KC Bowl for some fun with your family, friends, or even your date!
