Kingdom Chevy sold me a used vehicle with the incorrect engine; car can't pass emissions and is useless.Salesman: Michael BrixieI purchased a used 2007 Ford Escape from Kingdom Chevrolet. After the purchase, I took it to 3 different mechanics to have the "Check Engine" light issue repaired. The computer was showing a "Camshaft timing" error.Eventually, after a lot of time, energy and money invested in diagnosis, it was determined that the engine in the vehicle was incorrect. We don't know which model year or style this engine is for, but it is definitely not for this vehicle.I called Kingdom Chevrolet to let them know the situation. Their response was to stonewall and claim they have zero liability for this.All of my paperwork says that I purchased a 2007 Ford Escape. Nothing on the paperwork states that I was purchasing the engine for a different vehicle. I did not agree to purchase the body of one vehicle and the engine of another. This was a material fact not disclosed to me prior to the purchase of this vehicle.

I have less than perfect credit so I went through there pre approval process and had in answer the following day. I had been lied to before si I was skeptical but they came through and got me approved on a car I actually wanted with only $500 down and didnt hound me for a co signor. Great ecperience at kingdom

I leased my new chevy cruze from kingdom chevy. I originally saw a lease special advertised by them and it said no hidden charges just sign and drive it even included the taxes. Of course I was skeptical but after going over the numbers on the phone with general manager I felt comfortable and came in and got the exact deal that was advertised and discussed. It was definitely refreshing to receive a straight forward good deal. And to actually have the general manager of the dealership go over everything with me before I ever stepped foot in the dealership made me feel like a VIP. They proved to me that they really want to "earn" your business and im sure they will prove it to all my friends and family. Ive owned 2 civics in the past and the cruze drives just as nice and had more standard features for less money than civic and had a better warranty. Very happy customer

It's a nice change to buy a car and not be lied to even once. I purchased my new malibu from kingdom chevy and received the price they quoted me online and was treated with respect. They also moved fast and made the process fly by. I was most impressed with how easy the financing was given Im currently in a loan modification on my house. They were able to get me a single digit interest rate which I didnt think was possible with a 482 credit score. Thanks kingdom chevy especially pierre.

Fasle adversting i called hours before to let them know my situation telling them i didnt want anything under a 2001 only to get there and wait a hour and half to find out they cant finace me they dont care about the customer or your time shop else where

I scoured the internet looking for an affordable used car for my sons 16th birthday. I finnally found a 2006 honda civic on kingdomchevy.com. It was described accurately on their website and all the pictures showed me everything I needed to see. I made an appointment with salesperson to test drive the vehicle and when I got to the dealer it was pulled up front and ready to drive. Everyone was honest and respectful from start to finish. I plan to send all my family and friends there.

My encounter with Kingdom Chevrolet located on 66th and Western in Chicago, Il, has been by far, my worst buying experience. They are extremely unproffessional, unethical, unorganized, and underhanded. Their principles and values are substandard and their treatment of their customers is highly unexceptable. My issue is not with Chevrolet as a corporation, but with this particular dealership liscensed to sell their product. I feel as if I have been taken advantage of due to my age and gender, and that the dealership feels as if they could get away with their actions because they don't think that I have any power to fight or stop them. But if I could at least inform one person, and that one person does not purchase from their dealership, and spreads the word, then I have helped and prevented many others from patronizing this location and become a victim as I have. Please, buyers beware.
