The Killer’s was founded in the spring of 1982. It was conceived on the philosophy of total pest elimination. The Killer’s creators felt that “controlling” your pests was not what most people were looking for: most people want the pests gone!


Rick Bock has worked hard to successfully reach this goal. In 1993, he purchased two franchise stores, one in Salem and the other in Newport. With a lot of hard work, he was able to bring these stores to the standards he felt should be customary in order to provide quality service to many homes on the Oregon Coast and in the Willamette Valley.

In 1996, Rick was able to expand and he purchased the Portland franchise. Rick has helped bring up some of the best people in our industry with his hands-on approach and continued training. Rick’s principles are to provide superior service and use the safest products around.

Since then, The Killer’s has continued to grow every year. We credit this to the efforts of our great staff and their willingness to provide the best services available.

In 1994, Rick hired Matthew White who has become Head of Operations. Matthew manages the Portland and Salem location while Rick manages the Newport office. We have grown to over 3500 customers and look forward to servicing your home while protecting home, health and environment.
