No consideration of my time by Lori K - 10/02/2009I had a 9am appointment for my one year old. I arrived at 8:50am with all my paperwork filled out. Thirty minutes later, around 9:20am, one of the dental assistants came out to ask a few questions and said the dentist would be with me shortly. At 9:35am I asked the receptionist when we would be seeing the dentist. She thought it would be soon. Finally at 9:55am after being in the waiting room for over an hour and watching 5 or 6 different children escorted back, I left. I think it is ridiculous to have someone wait an hour, especially with a one year old. First impressions are not easily forgotten.I will be finding another pediatric dentist for my one year old. One that values my time as much as I value their time.Extremely disappointed.
Great dentist for the kids by west linn mom - 06/20/2009I have been taking my kids to see Dr. Yip for about 7 years now and he is the best! My kids don't mind going to the dentist, in fact they even look forward to it. Dr. Yip has the coolest toys for the kids to play with as they are waiting for their appointment or for their siblings to be seen. His office staff is very friendly. Dr. Yip has always respected my wishes as a parent as has never been pushy about procedures. He does a great job taking care of my kids teeth. Dr. Yip is amazing!

We are located minutes from Portland, Oregon City, and Portland. Here are some testimonials from some of our referring doctors and patients:Dr Yip has been a close colleague of mine since 1994 and I have been referring patients to him since 2002. As a referring dentist, I can contest that the parents and the kids that I have referred are greatful to have met him and love to visit his office. He has a special gift when it comes to communicating with kids and their parents. For example several kids I have sent over to Dr. Yip have been fearful of the dentist but after meeting with him they get over their fears, have fun and cannot wait to go back to his office. Dr. Yip likes to take his time with parents to carefully communicate their child's treatment. Furthermore, his skills as a dentist are impeccable and he is always taking continuing education to keep his skills current
Wonderful pediatric dentist by TerrK - 07/26/2008We've tried a few pediatric dentists. but this office is definitely the best. The hygienists are very good with my 3 and 8 year old kids. Dr. Yip fixed some cavities on my son and he didn't even mind. The laughing gas, cartoons, and wonderful assistants helped a lot. They also helped my 3 yo daughter to stop sucking her thumb which was causing her teeth to get flared out. She also was starting to get small cavities between her teeth. I floss my kids teeth now and haven't run into any new dental problems so far. I love how this office tries to educate us to prevent complicated dental problems.
Used this Dental office for my grandchildren and they were good. by SuzyQP - 10/29/2007I would tell people to take their children here as they give personal care and don't scare the children of going to the dentist.
