I went to Keri Powell therapy for couple's counseling. There are multiple counselors in this facility and I am sure the others are great, however I unfortunately got paired with one that did not work out at all. Couple's counseling is a tough situation to handle and I do not think it should be handled lightly or added into experience just because you have a license. If a counselor has a weakness and cannot help but side with one partner and interrogate the other, it does nothing but tear down the marriage even further. The time I needed encouragement the most I was torn down once again and the sad part is, i paid money for it.

A friendly, family oriented facility. They strive to provide the help and care to fit your personal goals while being very accommodating to provide properly skilled therapists that best align with your individual needs. Keri Powell Therapy has provided my entire family continuous support following a very challenging period of our lives.

I was extremely disappointed with a recent session. First I was charged an additional $50 for having to cancel a session due to a family emergency where my Mother was hospitalized. I was not made aware of this when I had to cancel. I also paid an additional $60 for a 15 minute session with a therapist that looked at the floor when she spoke. She showed no interest is assisting with the issue and seemed anxious to have me leave. What a waste of $160.



I was recently contacted by Keri Powell concerning this matter and she is refunding the fee for this service and the cancellation fee. I do appreciate her looking into the matter. She feels appropriate services were provided. I will still state that I was not happy at all with the therapist I dealt with, however I do appreciate that my complaint was dealt with in a professional manner and not ignored. I am sure there are good therapist at this agency and would not hesitate to contact them in the future.

I have seeing my therapist here for roughly 8 years! She has become one of my strongest supporters and she is extremely laid back but professional at the same time. I wouldn't consider going to any other therapist, ever! My mother has even seen a therapist here as well and she had nothing but positive comments to say as well. The facility is clean and professional, the people are genuine and understanding. Overall the best experience I've ever had !

I had a great experience until I didn't. During a stressful time, I was transferred to a new therapist not in my network. The office then tried to tell me they did me a favor writing off that cost they themselves caused and then charged me $100 in cancelation fees that were not accurate and from over a year prior. Overall I was not treated with respect during a stressful time which is the entire point of a counseling practice. The old office staff worked with you. The new office staff doesn't appear to care.

I have had the greatest experience with Keri for the last two years! She is always here for me when I need someone to talk and process with. I have never felt judgement or fear any time I have walked into her office. The others that work here are equally as kind and patient. I don't know what I would do without them!

What a blessing to have Karen Jones at Keri Powell Therapy as my therapist. She has an endearing quality about her that makes one feel very comfortable opening up to her. I've suffered from depression for several years and was to afraid to see a therapist. The stigma that surrounds mental health is unfortunate. However, I made one of the best decisions by calling Keri Powell and getting the help that I needed. Thanks to Karen she gave me the day to day tools to deal with depression. I can't thank her enough for all that she has done for me. She is truly a blessing.

If you are looking for a counselor who is warm, insightful, and professional, Karen Jones is an excellent choice. Her range of experiences and training give her diverse tools for addressing trauma, childhood issues, addiction and recovery, depression and anxiety, and more. She balances nurturing and validation with helping the client to develop more concrete and practical tools for healing and healthy living. I can't say enough about how much she has helped me to grow.

Keri has walked with me through some of the most difficult transitions in my life, she has patience beyond measure. She has continually looked at my situation as a person, not as a theory. Keri has helped to interpret my feelings and behavior and challenged me for progress and success of myself. She has always been compassionate without being enabling, knowledgeable, and always respectful.

You couldn't ask for better people to assist you in crisis. The staff members are all very caring, compassionate and kind. If you have a child who is in need of therapy - I would recommend KP Therapy. The staff treats everyone like family and will do whatever it takes to help in a crisis.The environment is one that is very loving and safe for children(as well as adults). The staff members are diversified in many areas and I would strongly recommend KP Therapy.

I'm very impressed with Keri Powell Therapy. The staff is very genuine and compassionate. They sincerely care about their patients and strive to improve themselves to better serve their clientele. The office has a welcoming feeling and would recommend to friends and acquaintances.

I love the ladies at Keri Powell Therapy! They have a relaxed and friendly environment that I've never found in a therapists office before. Each person there treats me as if they've know me forever and I look forward to going to my appointments because they make me feel special each week. I cant say enough good things about these women, who have helped me and my family with our issues. I recommend them to anyone who is looking for a refreshing approach to therapy.

Excellent staff in nice location. Goes above and beyond the call of duty. Very attuned to the complex issues involved with distress in families and its effect on young children, teenagers and adults. Stays educated on current issues and willing to step outside the box to learn new ways and provide support. Would highly recommend!
