Before becoming involved in refinishing pianos as a full time business all I knew about pianos was that they were extremely heavy. In the spring of 1979 I purchased an old piano that was ready for the dump and began to restore and refinish it. Restoring that old George Bent Upright piano was a labor of love. After it was finished it looked new and sold fast. My enthusiasm for piano refinishing kicked into high gear. Now nearly 30 years later I still love it.
