I used to be a hair model and have sat on a stage with 1,000’s of people watching me get my hair done by some of the top stylist from New York City at the Javits Center and other venues. I have had the top stylist in the Atlanta and metro area do my hair as well. Julie has skills beyond anything I have ever experienced. I am for real and speak the truth when I say she is a “Master Colorist and Stylist.” The Karma Salon and Spa and her Krew (staff) are warm, inviting, and down to earth with bounds of positive energy flowing from all 4 corners, and the service’s they perform are the BEST of the BEST! EVE R.

NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!!!! WAY OVER PRICED & INEXPERIENCED PEOPLE & VERY NICE PEOPLE. BUT I THINK THEY OVER NICE BECAUSE THEY KNOW THEY WAY OVER PRICED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I recently moved to the Buford area and had no idea where to get my hair done. I Googled nearby salons and Karma came up as an option. I toured the salon first before I booked an appointment. They were all so sweet! The salon has lots of vintage elements to it, which I love. I booked an appointment for that afternoon and I am so glad I chose this place. My husband has even commented on how great my hair looks now! I also decided to get a spray tan for an upcoming trip to the beach. I heard it turns you orange, but it definitely didn't. I love it! I highly recommend Karma to anyone!

I was looking for a cute salon that could do my bridal party that was professional & inexpensive. I was so happy when I left Karma on my wedding day!!! All my bridesmaids, my mother & myself looked fabulous!! I can't thank Karma Salon & Spa enough for what they did for me!!! I will recommend this salon to anyone & everyone I know looking for somewhere to get there hair done!!!! Thanks again to the Karma Krew!!!

I just got my eyebrows tinted there yesterday and I LOVE THEM! I thought I was cursed with thinning eyebrows and it was something I would just have to deal with, but they made them darker and look thicker and longer! I am so happy with the results I have referred Karma to everybody I know! THANKS JULIE!

I recently moved to Buford and was nervous about changing salon's! I found Karma online and decided to try it out. My mom came with me and we both got highlights and a haircut! Everyone was very friendly, we were offered something to drink & snack which was very different compared to other salon's that I have been to. I loved the experience and I am now a long time customer.

My experience at Karma was absolutely amazing! I walked out of the salon feeling prettier than ever and my hair was exactly how I imagined it. Before I decided to go I was very nervous because I have had bad experiences before at other salon's but after I went I was so happy! I love Julie she is fabulous. She always sits and talks with you before she ever touches your hair to make sure she know's exactly what you want. If you have never been here before you need to go! Thanks Karma! I will recommend all of my friends and family members to come here!!!!

The one thing I will say is that everybody was nice. However, I had a Groupon for partial highlights/cut/style. It must have been the colorist first day on the job out of beauty school because she made a number of mistakes on my hair. My color was entirely too blonde even when I told her I just wanted to touch up the highlights I already had. She didn't touch up the roots which looked like I needed a touch-up the minute I left the salon. The highlights she put in looked sporadic.... No consistency to both sides of my head (one side is heavier than the other). And the highlights at my hairline were brassy!!! Absolutely horrible and embarrassing!! I went home and cried and thought about asking them to correct the problem but too scared it would end up worse than what it was. To top it off, the colorist charged me $10 more on top of my Groupon because apparently, my highlights weren't all going to be covered in the Groupon. Do yourself a favor- just say no. No matter how tempting that Groupon price is or how trendy the place looks.

stay away! Julie the owner does not admit she does not know what she is doing! Terrible hair cut HORRIBLE hair color unless you want to look like a dog peed on your head and way OVER THE TOP PRICES! They do not stand behind their work and will not tell you prices upfront! You have been warrned!

Karma is the best! Professional, talented stylists, great service and an owner that cares about each client's happiness. My whole family goes to Karma and we wouldn't go anywhere else.

Save your time, Save your money, And most of all Save your hair! There is only one word to describe my hair and that word is HORRIBLE! Everyone was very nice in the salon but they either do not know how to do hair or they did it on purpose to get more money out of me. I went in for blonde hair and came out with orange hair. When I arrived the wait time was short and everyone was very nice. I discussed with the stylist what I wanted done with my hair and she immediately started to try to get me to buy more services. I told her with The color I was going for she should have been able to achieve with color alone and no toner. I have had my hair done enough times to know how it responds to color. I told her I did not want any brassiness or orange in my hair and even told her she might want to mix some blue or ash to keep the brassy color out. Well she did not listen and told me in the beginning that I may need a toner and it would be 55.00. I told her we should be ale to get what I want with out a toner so I feel like it was done on purpose just so I would have to purchase the toner also. Anyway I sat there looking at my hair saying to myself Never Again!! I was not ugly and I did not say a word about how horrible my hair looked. Even the owner had the nerve to say your hair looks great which made me wonder is she blind??? I have been to a salon before where the owner would not have let you walk out with hideous looking hair because that is a reflection on her. I went to Sally's beauty supply and the lady working laughed at my hair. I laughed with her as I told her to hurry and give me something to fix it before anyone else saw it and started laughing. To the owner: either one, get better stylists, two, stop being greedy remember "karma" or three, do not let people walk out of your salon with hideous hair. It will only come back to hurt you and you business. Thankfully I was able to fix the orange hair with what the lady sold me at Sally's. It cost me 8.14. It cost Karma a customer and I will always let everyone know where NOT to go.

I love Karma Salon! Been going to Julie several years and a few different hair styles. A hair appointment is more than a cut and style We talk and laugh and catch up while I sit back and enjoy the pampering. Everyone in the salon goes out of their way to be friendly and attentive. Always get complments about my cut and make sure I tell all my friends about Karma.

Great salon. I have received more compliments on the haircut that Canon gave me in the past 6 months than I have received my entire life. The staff is warm and welcoming and just plain wonderful! Where have you been all my life?
